Summer Thoughts

Last night was looking through an old journal. Found this little writing of summer thoughts from 2003.

Sweet home Idaho
Clear sun that stays
Endless blue horizon
There are no clouds today...
I'm sailing on Lake Pend Oreille.

The winds change swiftly
Horn of the train echos by
I'm laying on the bow
Hoping I won't fall off this time.
